My name is Marissa Slack. I am a senior in the Department of Communication Disorders at Marshall University. In January of 2008 I will begin applying to several schools in the state of Tennessee in addition to Marshall University to pursue my graduate work in speech-language pathology. I hope to find my niche in this wonderful field somewhere along the way and to devote my time and effort to being an effective service provider as an speech-language pathologist. My ultimate ambition in life is to help others, and I have chosen a field full of opportunity to do so.
